Scientist and AI visionary

Danko Nikolic is a neuroscientist and an AI entrepreneur. He was a group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research, where he studied the visual cortex and gamma oscillations and pioneered machine-learning-based reading of brain signals. With his team, he demonstrated that brain signals can be meaningfully read by machines, and using only short snapshots, machines can reconstruct what the brain is seeing. He published his work in top scientific journals. He is a co-founder of several startups and the co-organizer of the largest AI Meetup in Europe.
